Marketing & Communications is a Los Angeles-based public relations and communications firm that creates innovative campaigns that break through the clutter and offer clients a real connection to their audience.

The Marketing & Communications team is comprised of bilingual and bicultural professionals that offer clients vast experience and intimate understanding of how to produce effective campaigns for either mainstream, Hispanic or cross-over audiences.

Our diversity extends to the wide array of clients we work with from government and finance to entertainment and consumer. We bring our collective experience to each project offering a fresh approach to its execution and the strategic process.


Marketing & Communications founder, Sybil Alicia MacDonald, formed the agency in 1997. Previously, she had a successful career as a communications executive for MTV/Nickelodeon, KCBS-TV and Univision. She also worked for Paramount Television Group’s publicity team to launch the company’s syndicated programming. Her television publicity experience extends to promotion of local news teams, breaking news, history-making stories and crisis management. Her cultivated sense of “story” and message helps direct strategic development for each Marketing & Communications client.

Since 1997, Marketing & Communications has grown from a publicity agency, to incorporate marketing, advertising and community outreach capabilities. The agency’s philosophy is to always explore new ways to generate excitement for the client message.
